It has been a very busy four days for a reunited industry. An industry that has suffered so much during the pandemic. Although the challenges are far from over, the ICEF Berlin 2021 statistics are a clear indication of a resilient and active sector, one that is capable of adapting to whatever challenges arise and that is optimistic about the future.

ICEF Berlin is the international education industry’s largest and most comprehensive global networking event, and it is with great pride that we just delivered our first ever hybrid event: a very successful one by all measures, bringing together 1,774 international education professionals and decision makers representing 1,436 organisations from 120 countries. Together they engaged in more than 21,500 business meetings that took place either virtually or in-person at the Intercontinental Hotel in Berlin.

A full programme of over 50 live, virtual and hybrid seminars, panel discussions, on-demand sessions and case studies provided insights on post pandemic recovery strategies, industry trends, regional market intelligence, and destination updates. A special episode of the ICEF Podcast, recorded during the event, brought together a variety of industry professionals to discuss and celebrate the reunion of the international student recruitment industry.
